Play Skills for Children with ASD

This workshop is designed for parents/caregivers who would like to learn more ways to play with their child to facilitate learning. Parents & caregivers will have the opportunity to discover fun & creative ways to engage with their children during play time while focusing on specific learning goals.
Learning Outcomes:
  1. Describe the stages of play throughout child development
  2. Explain how play may be different for children with ASD and specifically for their child.
  3. Describe ways to use play to help their child learn specific tasks.
  4. Design and implement strategies which address the stages of play for their child.
